Meet LaSharika Educator & Homeschooling Mom
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is LaSharika, and I am thrilled to share my journey as a Certified Early Childhood Educator and a homeschooling parent. As a firm believer that parents are their children's first and most influential teachers, I have dedicated myself to providing the best education and care for my five wonderful children.
My passion for education and nurturing young minds has been with me since childhood. When asked about my aspirations, I always responded with one clear answer: I wanted to be a teacher. This desire led me into the world of childcare, where I began as a teacher's aide. It was during this time that my boss recognized my potential and encouraged me to pursue my Early Childhood certification.
The Joy of Teaching My Own
What could be more fulfilling than teaching my own children? I have always enjoyed assisting my younger siblings, cousins, and friends with babysitting. Now, I get to create a loving and nurturing environment for my own children, tailor their education to their unique needs, and witness their growth firsthand.

Educational Journey
Empowered with the knowledge and skills acquired through my studies, I became a lead teacher and later an assistant director. These roles gave me invaluable experience in managing day-to-day operations, creating lesson plans, recruiting staff, and overseeing the center's functions. I found my calling working with children, and my dedication to their growth and development only grew stronger.

Around ten years ago, I embarked on a remarkable journey as a homeschooling parent. In the face of the current climate in schools and the world, I decided that homeschooling was the best path for my children. It has been a decision I cherish, and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
